Texas Monthly BBQ Festival 2021 is Hitting the Road

The Texas Monthly BBQ Festival was postponed last year and as what looks like the classic 2020/2021 pivot, they have decided to switch things up in the most 'Texas BBQ' of ways.

What was born is called the Texas Monthly BBQ Fest: Road Trip Edition which involves 3 separate locations across the great state of Texas: Tyler, Lubbock, and Brownsville.

Here's the schedule:

STOP #1 - Sunday - October 10th

Location: Stanley's Famous Pit BBQ in Tyler, Texas - Noon - 4PM

"An afternoon of ‘cue, drinks, and good times. This family-friendly affair will feature live music from Shinyribs" with barbecue and food from:

Tickets are $65 and includes food. Cash bar. Tickets for kids 6-10 are $25. Kids under 6 are free.

STOP #2 - Wednesday October 13th

Location: Evie Mae's Pit Barbeque in Wolfforth, Texas - 6PM - 9PM

"Get an insider’s look at live fire cooking and meat science, with a behind-the-scenes tour from folks at Evie Mae’s Pit Barbeque near Lubbock, Texas. Enjoy a seated dinner with a lively ‘Cue & A’ panel between barbecue editor Daniel Vaughn and four West Texas pitmasters":

Tickets are $150 and includes a sit down dinner. Ages 21+ only.
