Rosie’s BBQ & Grillery in Northridge has been a fixture in Northridge, California since 1979, but the place really hit its stride when Dimitri Ioakim took over in 2017. They are open 7 days a week from 11AM to 9PM with quality barbecue that would be considered ‘California style’ as it includes a wide range of items to satisfy any taste, but things really take off on Saturdays.
That’s because Dimitri started up Smoked Meats Saturdays. It’s a like a little slice of Texas brought to the San Fernando Valley each Saturday. They are serving tri tip, brisket, beef short ribs, sausage, pork spare ribs, pulled pork, pork belly burnt ends, butter injected chicken, turkey breast along with brisket Frito pie and Texas Twinkies.
The first Saturday of the Month is Pastrami day and the Second Saturday of the Month you can get various flavored pork belly burnt ends(they’ve recently done Mango Habanero and Al Pastor so far).
