UPDATE: MAY 26, 2020: We chatted with owner Wyatt Fields and there is some great news for the growing group of fans of Breakwater Barbecue. New hours will be Saturday and Sundays for takeout with social distancing safe front door ordering. NO dining in for now, but keep checking social media as statewide and local guidelines change.

Stating in June they will be open Thursdays and Fridays starting at 4PM going until they sell out with Thursday’s being a “Taco Thursday’s” featuring their smoked meat in street tacos, enchiladas AND our special sangria in sealed mason jars!
APRIl 24, 2020: A new BBQ spot opened up In the coastal town of El Granada, California(just north of Half Moon Bay) roughly three weeks ago. The timing wasn’t ideal, but owner Wyatt Fields has pushed forward, offering brisket, pulled pork, ribs and sausage every weekend by online pre-order. Here all about it in his words here:
As mentioned above, they are currently doing pre-order pickups for the weekend(Saturday and Sunday). They open up that pre-ordering HERE on Wednesday mornings and close it down early Friday. Along with the proteins above, they offer sides, dessert, and beer and wine. Note the menu changes slightly each week, but all updates will be noted on the online menu.
There are plans in place too for a social distancing safe walk-up option in a week or two for walk up. Right now it is solely on a pre-order basis.
From what I have seen(and heard from a friend who connected me with them), their barbecue is fantastic and Wyatt and his team really put passion into both their food and service.
