This is the original Big Bob Gibson's BBQ & by far the best. This has been a favorite of mine for many years & is a must stop every time I go through Decatur. Good meat, delicious sides, sweet tea, & some of the best home made pies in the world. All their sauces are great (I prefer the sweet, brown sauce, although many locals rave about their white sauce, especially on their BBQ chicken). The walls are filled with numerous trophies attesting to their BBQ mastery. Get off I-65 & cruise down old Highway 31 (^th Avenue in Decatur) & follow your nose. Enjoy!

I have had their BBQ at The Big Apple BBQ in NYC. Their sandwiches for the festival were absolutely incredible. They have several different sauces and their white sauce is absolutely amazing. I also think their original BBQ sauce is the best sauce I have ever had. It has just the right amount of sweet, smokey and BBQ-y goodness that makes a sauce so good.
